What type of documentation should I bring?
- Valid driver’s license from any state OR California Identification Card
- Social Security Card
- DMV print out if possible. However it is mandatory for Class A and B drivers.
- Welding certificates if you are applying for a welding position.
- Resume, which should include work history and list of references.
- Current safety certificates from Westec, ABC Training Center or the American Society of Safety Engineers. You can request a schedule if needed.
- Current medical card for Class A and B drivers.
When can I schedule an appointment to meet with a staff member?
You can call Monday through Thursday between 8:00 am and 8:30 am to schedule an appointment for that same day. Walk-ins are welcome between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm, Monday - Thursday. To be seen after 2:00 pm you must have a scheduled appointment.
How early should I arrive for my appointment?
You should arrive up to ten minutes early. Any earlier than that may interfere with previously scheduled appointments.
What if I am running late for my appointment?
If you are running late, please call so that we can reschedule your appointment.
How long does an orientation usually last?
Orientations typically last 1 ½ to 2 hours. Please schedule enough time to complete the entire orientation.
What should I wear to the interview?
Please dress business-like. Shorts, tank tops, and t-shirts would be inappropriate.
Will I need a list of references?
Yes. Be sure to bring your work history and reference information when applying for a position. This can be a part of your resume.
Is it okay to bring a friend or family member to the orientation with me?
To help Work Force Staffing to better serve your needs, it is best that you do not bring along a family member or friend.
